Heartland JETAA

The Heartland Chapter of the Japan Exchange and Teaching program Alumni Association

Purpose / Mission: An Alumni Association for The Japan Exchange and Teaching Program participants (JET).

Our mission is to provide support to returning JET program participants and broaden the understanding of Japan in the region.

Year Established: 1988

Meetings: General meetings each month. Check the Facebook page for details.

Main Activities: Educational presentations in the community related to Japan. Support the JET program and its alumni, volunteer for activities related to Japan, host the KC Japanese Film Festival fundraiser for the rebuilding of Japan every February along with the Kansas City Art Institute.
